Ready to take your teaching to the next level? Join us for a FREE open house to learn about our new 300 hour Teacher Certification Program. Enjoy a free class with one of our program teachers, Carrie Morgan, and meet many of the other teachers on our staff. Our staff members will be sharing details about their role in the program and their backrounds. We will share snacks and have a question and answer session.
Our new 300 hour format makes it easier and more flexible than ever to earn your certificate. The program consists of modules offered throughout the year, including topics such as alignment, ayurveda, chakras, koshas, yin, restorative, chair yoga, somatic yoga, and much more! Customize the program to meet your teaching style and needs. Students can choose which modules fit their interests and schedules. To wrap up your program, you will be paired with one of our amazing staff members in our mentorship program. During that time, you will have the opportunity to observe, assist, and co-teach with your mentor at the Yoga Loft.
We have added exciting new teachers such as Jason Brown who will be sharing his “Gentle is the New Advanced” module this October. In addition, Sangeeta Vallabhan, who has been featured on Yoga Journal and is a member of the Yoga Works staff in NYC. Finally, Hillery Woods and Jeanette Alosi will be bringing their expertise in the areas of Ayurveda and the subtle body. You will also see familiar faces such as Carrie Morgan, myself (Deanna Nagle), Alysha Pfeiffer, Sally Delisle, Megan Morris, and Miriam Serow.
Our first module begins in September with Carrie and Sangeeta, September 7-9. This “Excellence in Teaching” module will explore hands on assists, chanting and props with Sangeeta, and refine alignment skills with Carrie on Sunday. Carrie will be sharing an alignment workshop on balance and then we will be learning how to cue based on our students’ needs.
A 200 hour program provides a strong foundation in the teachings of yoga. Our 300 hour dives deeper into some of the topics introduced in your initial program. Learn more creative sequencing, nuanced cueing, teaching various populations, philosophy, mythology and much more! Finish in 2 or 3 years, depending on your schedule and select your favorite modules, enabling you to customize your program to meet your needs.
We look forward to meeting with you on August 20th at 6:30 pm. If you can’t make the session but would still like to talk about the program, please feel free to reach out to me at deannanagleyoga@gmail.com to set up a time to chat.
Namaste!
Deanna Nagle
